WALL and CANVAS PAINTING

SOME FRESCOES EXAMPLES

Painting, regardless of the medium on which it is made (paper, canvas, wood or glass) is an art that deals with complex issues such as colour yield, changes in tone, the study of lights and shadows, the illusion of natural spaces, the technique (with smaltis, pastes, glazes).

FRESCO
The fresco is an ancient painting technique that is done by painting on wet plaster; the color will be completely absorbed, becoming particularly resistant to water and weather conditions.
The technique consists of three elements: support, plaster and color. The plaster is a mixture of thin sand, powdered marble, lime and water which is spread on the support prepared with the arriccio (a rough underlayer). The color is applied on the wet
plaster.
The colours used are pure pigments mixed together to get the desired color tone.

INNOVATIVE PAINTING
The knowledge and experience of the traditional fresco technique led to develop an innovative painting, always handmade, using different medium applied to architecture and obtaining a work of exceptional beauty but at the same time of durability and reversibility.
