The artistic stained glass windows, domes and ceilings are made even today using the
traditional technique where the manual ability is still the main requirement.
To make a window or a ceiling, there are many steps to follow: the design is first zoomed into a 1:1 scale, where all details become evident.
After that the carton shapes must be prepared and later the artisans will cut the mouth blown glass.
The techniques commonly used to put together all glass pieces are the Tiffany or Collage techniques. The traditional technique of copper ligature is mainly used for classic windows but is also employed to do more modern items such as where the fusing glass technique or the gold leaf are used.
